Description:
Nutrition is the basis of health, and good health is the foundation for academic and athletic success, good looks, social ease, and a future full of potential. With 50% of Americans either diabetic or pre-diabetic, cancer on the rise, and nearly a fifth of teens developing fatty liver disease, more and more young people want to get off that train. Knowledge is power! And good nutrition is empowering. Set the stage for a healthy future by learning to think downstream and make the right choices. Topics covered will include:
• Nutrition for optimal academic and athletic performance
• Nutrition for healthy hormones and easier menstrual periods
• Nutrition for clearing acne
• Nutrition for reducing cravings and achieving optimal weight
• Nutrition for lifelong healthy blood sugar
• Understanding food labels
• Healthy cooking techniques
• Timing your meals for a healthy metabolism
• Finding healthy food on a budget
I’m so eager to bring this material to my community! Helping teens make informed choices and giving them a chance at a better start in life is one of my greatest aspirations as a health coach.
Hope to see you there!
